About The Role

We are seeking seasonal, part-time banquet line cooks to join our team! As a Banquet Line Cook, you will participate in all culinary aspects for our wedding and corporate events, including service, sanitation, safety, menu knowledge, and station setup. You will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by preparing dishes to the highest standards, according to recipes and menu specifications.

Essential Duties

• Respond to requests from senior kitchen staff, including preparing ingredients and assisting with food preparation.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and report issues.
• Work cooperatively with all kitchen staff.
• Prepare food for service, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces.
• Keep work stations clean and organized.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
• Use kitchen equipment properly.
• Work on your feet most of the day and lift up to 30 pounds.

Specific Requirements

• Set up and stock stations with supplies.
• Prepare and cook menu items, including main dishes, desserts, and appetizers.
• Ensure timely and high-quality food output.
• Assist in cleaning and organizing the kitchen and storage areas.
• Comply with food safety standards and regulations.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
