Job summary

Lake Junaluska Assembly Inc. near Lake Junaluska, NC is seeking a Part Time Banquet Lead Server to manage dining set ups and banquet functions. You will supervise serving staff, coordinate event flow, and ensure guest satisfaction during both regular dining and special events.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 1-3 months in food service, preferably banquets. The role involves wearing a uniform, reporting to the Event Services Manager, and working a flexible schedule across weekends

Qualifications

• Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma and 1-3 months relevant food service experience, preferably banquets and special event catering.
• Must possess excellent hospitality skills and a strong desire to exceed guest expectations.
• Must have good communication, client relations, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary Event lead communicating with Serving Staff in presentation and implementing standards of dining set ups and banquet functions.
• Prepare the dining room or special event location serving areas before a function as well as post meal/event.
• Provide wait services to guests in a pleasant, efficient, helpful manner during regular dining and/or special events and functions.
• Maintain cleanliness of Banquet Event and dining areas.
• Wear and maintain clean, pressed staff uniform, including name tag.
• Serve as the primary on-floor supervisor for Banquet Event Servers during all banquet functions and catered events, directing the flow of service from setup through breakdown.
