Job summary

Davidson Hospitality Group is seeking a Banquet Houseperson at the JW Marriott Reston Station to join a dynamic events team. You will help set up and break down spaces, arrange tables and furniture, and ensure rooms are prepared to exact specifications for every function.

You will support banquet servers, maintain cleanliness, and collaborate to deliver seamless service, anticipating guest needs with energy and a positive attitude in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down event spaces with the banquet team according to event specifications.
• Assist in arranging furniture, setting tables, and preparing rooms for each function.
• Support banquet servers by delivering equipment, supplies and items for events in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas for a pleasant atmosphere.
• Collaborate with the banquet team to ensure seamless service and exceed guest expectations.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide assistance with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation standards for a safe, hygienic environment.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork and excellence.
