Job summary

Davidson Hospitality Group is seeking a courteous Server at JW Marriott Reston Station, a luxury hotel in the Reston Station District. You will greet guests, guide them through the menu, take orders, and deliver food and beverages with polished service to ensure a memorable dining experience.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, teamwork, and English fluency, with 6 months to 1 year of serving experience and the ability to work weekends and holidays in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months to one year serving experience preferred.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Guide guests through the menu, providing recommendations and answering questions.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay to kitchen/bar.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely, professional manner.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service.
• Clear tables and maintain a clean dining area.
• Process guest payments and handle cash transactions.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.

Salary Range
