Job summary

The Arlington Resort Hotel & Spa in Hot Springs, AR is seeking a Banquet Houseman to ensure all linens, glassware, silverware, and banquet items are cleared and cleaned after events. You will maintain banquet and food service areas, and assist with event setup and breakdown to support a seamless guest experience.

Responsibilities include friendly guest interaction, safety compliance, and teamwork with the Banquet Team to keep spaces orderly.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience in a hotel preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to tolerate pressure and work calmly, independently, and efficiently.
• Ability to take direction and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Approach all guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner and clear linens, trash, glassware, plateware and silverware after events.
• Maintain banquet, convention and food service areas, ensuring they are cleaned and organized.
• After each event, clean up event spaces, including the banquet kitchen.
• Work with Banquet Manager on event details and help move furniture as needed.

Job SummaryThe banquet Houseman is responsible for ensuring all linens, trash, glassware, plateware, silverware and other items used for Banquets are cleared. They are responsible for maintaining all banquet, convention and food service areas and ensuring they are cleaned and organized. After every event, the Banquet Houseman will ensure cleanup of all areas used for the event, including the banquet kitchen.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesApproach all guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.Practice safety standards at all times including constant awareness of safety hazards.
