Requirements:

• This is a labor-intensive, fast-paced position

Overview:

The Houseman will act as a liaison between front and back of house, assisting in all positions as needed.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for proper set up and tear down of event phases.
2. Complete knowledge and interpretation of buffet stations for service.
3. Have thorough knowledge of the restaurant, including menu specials, desserts, promotions, activities, floor plan, hours of operation, and reservations.
4. Ensure the integrity of menu items, including plating, temperature, condiments, and sides.
5. Familiarity with table and seat numbers.
6. Deliver food from kitchen to tables.
7. Ensure alcoholic beverages are handled properly; do not enter or leave the restaurant with them, and notify a manager if issues arise.
8. Work with a high sense of urgency.
9. Clear dishes and glassware when returning to the kitchen (pre-bussing).
10. Assist servers in setup, cleanup, and resetting tables during and after shifts.
11. Perform assigned side work and cleaning duties as directed by the restaurant manager.
12. Perform multiple functions in the restaurant as needed.
13. Additional duties as assigned by F&B Managers.
