Job summary

Renaissance Palm Springs Hotel is seeking a part-time team member to manage banquet setup and guest-focused service. You will clean and prepare function rooms according to event orders, ensuring spaces meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities include setting up and testing A/V equipment, maintaining banquet spaces, and returning gear to storage. This role supports nightly and weekend operations, delivering exceptional guest experiences in a dynamic hotel environment.

• Set up and ensure audio/visual equipment is functioning properly; coordinate with A/V company as needed.
• Clean and maintain banquet space; vacuum, shampoo carpets, dust walls and dividers, and mop service areas.
• Return electrical equipment to banquet storage; maintain an organized storage facility.
• Promptly remove bus pans from function areas when full.

What you will be doing

• Completely and efficiently clean and set up all function rooms according to customer specifications on event order.
• Make sure all audio/visual equipment is set up and functioning properly. Work with A/V Company to ensure.
• Make sure all items and banquet space are clean and in working order. Vacuum and shampoo carpet, dust walls and dividers and mop service area when needed.
• Return electrical equipment to banquet storage facility at the end of the day. Maintain a clean storage facility at all times.
• Promptly remove bus pans from function areas when full.
• Hourly rate range is $16.90 to $17.00
