Job summary

Remington Hospitality in Anchorage, AK seeks a dedicated Banquet Setup Associate to prepare function rooms according to event orders and customer specifications. You will ensure audio/visual equipment is configured and working, coordinating with the A/V company as needed.

You will also maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet spaces, store equipment properly, and promptly remove bus pans when full, contributing to smooth event operations and guest satisfaction.

• Ensure audio/visual equipment is set up and functioning; coordinate with A/V provider.

Responsibilities

• Prepare banquet areas according to event orders and client specifications.
• Collaborate with A/V provider to verify setup and operation of equipment.
• Keep banquet spaces, carpets, walls, and service areas clean and in good repair.
• Return electrical equipment to storage at day end and maintain storage area.
• Remove bus pans from function areas when full and manage as needed.

Job description

• Completely and efficiently clean and set up all function rooms according to customer specifications on event order.
• Make sure all audio/visual equipment is set up and functioning properly. Work with A/V Company to ensure.
• Make sure all items and banquet space are clean and in working order. Vacuum and shampoo carpet, dust walls and dividers and mop service area when needed.
• Return electrical equipment to banquet storage facility at the end of the day. Maintain a clean storage facility at all times.
• Promptly remove bus pans from function areas when full.
