Job summary

Valley Hospitality Services seeks a Banquet Set Up Attendant to prepare venues for events, arrange tables and linens, and ensure seating plans reflect quality presentations. You will assist in stocking dining room supplies and moving items as needed.

You will stand for long periods, lift 50+ lbs, and follow safety guidelines while delivering courteous guest service. Strong teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work with minimal supervision are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

  • Should work well in a team setting to achieve goals in a timely manner.
  • Should be able to stand on their feet for several hours and carry heavy objects (50+ lbs).
  • Follow strict safety guidelines to prevent accidents.
  • Communicate with guests to resolve inquiries and direct them as necessary.

Banquet Set Up Attendant Responsibilities
  • Setting up banquet events for their organizations
  • Facilitating banquet-related activities such as organizing tables, setting plates, and accommodating chairs
  • Must be organized and pay close attention to detail to execute quality presentations before events begin
  • Should work well in a team setting to achieve goals in a timely manner
  • Should also be able to stand on their feet for several hours
  • Should be able to carry heavy objects with care (50+lbs)
  • Follow strict safety guidelines to prevent accidents
  • Communicate with guests to resolve their inquiries and direct them as necessary
  • Follow directions and execute banquet orders as requested by managers or supervisors
  • May move banquet items to be washed and c
  • Help to stock food items and order new supplies as necessary
  • Help maintain and clean specialized banquet equipment before shifts conclude. Strong communication skills are important in order to report any issues to a banquet supervisor.
  • Should also work well on their own with minimal supervision.
  • Prior work experience with banquet events is highly beneficial
