Purpose and performance goals:

This associate will be responsible for exemplifying the Maverick Hotel and Restaurants Culture as well as providing promotional expertise for the location as both a destination and a harmonious work environment. The Houseman will strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. The Banquet House Attendant will be responsible for exemplifying the Maverick Hotels and Restaurants Brand and Corporate culture.
SUMMARY:
The Banquet House Attendant will promote a safe and welcoming working environment to achieve maximum guest satisfaction. The Banquet House Attendant will work with all Managers, Chefs, and Captains to ensure maximum efficiency.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to be able to work in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, sun, heat); must be able to work indoors/outdoors. The employee is frequently required to stand (a minimum of 8 hours); walk; handle, feel, grasp, and hold objects, tools, or controls. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms; balance (service trays, glasses included); stoop; crouch; bend; talk; hear; taste; and smell. The employee may be required to frequently climb (stairs). The employee may be required to kneel. The employee must frequently, carry pull and/or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 200 lbs
Must be able to work in areas of loud noises. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. HOURS
Due to the seasonal nature of the hospitality industry, and the fact that Maverick Hotels and Restaurants provides guest services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, an employee may be required to work rotating shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays and/or overtime.
