Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Facility & Banquet Houseman Manager in Pittsburgh, PA. This leadership role oversees event setup, staff management, and all aspects of banquet operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will supervise a houseman team, coordinate with catering and culinary teams, and ensure safety, sanitation, and adherence to event timelines. The position requires evening and weekend availability and a focus on cleanliness and guest service.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in banquet operations or event management.
• Prior supervisory or management experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work an event-driven schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the houseman team including hiring, scheduling, training, and development.
• Oversee setup and breakdown of events per banquet orders.
• Conduct daily facility walkthroughs to ensure event readiness.
• Maintain documentation of event schedules, timelines, and floor plans.
• Coordinate closely with the Catering Services Manager, Executive Chef, and culinary team to ensure seamless event execution.
• Monitor food and labor targets and ensure accurate reporting of expenses.
• Ensure all equipment is properly transported, stored, and maintained.
• Enforce Aramark safety, sanitation, and food handling policies at all times.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for event logistics on the floor during service.
