Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the houseman team including hiring, scheduling, training, and development.

• Conduct daily facility walkthroughs to ensure event readiness.
• Maintain documentation of event schedules, timelines, and floor plans.
• Coordinate closely with the Catering Services Manager, Executive Chef, and culinary team to ensure seamless event execution.
• Monitor food and labor targets and ensure accurate reporting of expenses.
• Ensure all equipment is properly transported, stored, and maintained.
• Enforce Aramark safety, sanitation, and food handling policies at all times.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for event logistics on the floor during service.

The Facility and Banquet Houseman Manager is a leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of event setup, breakdown, facility readiness, and houseman staff management. This role ensures seamless set up and execution of banquets, catering events, and special functions while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest experience.

Job Responsibilities

Manage and supervise the houseman team including hiring, scheduling, training, and development.

Oversee setup and breakdown of all events including tables, chairs, buffet lines, décor, and equipment in accordance with banquet event orders.

Conduct daily facility walkthroughs to ensure interior and exterior spaces are event-ready.

Maintain accurate documentation of event schedules, timelines, and floor plans.

Coordinate closely with the Catering Services Manager, Executive Chef, and culinary team to ensure seamless event execution.

Monitor food and labor targets and ensure accurate reporting of expenses.

Ensure all equipment is properly transported, stored, and maintained.

Enforce Aramark safety, sanitation, and food handling policies at all times.

Qualifications

2 to 4 years of experience in banquet operations, hospitality, or event management.

Prior supervisory or management experience required.

Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Ability to work an event-driven schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Food Handlers and Alcohol Service certifications as required.

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
