Job summary

Lido Beach Resort in Sarasota, FL is seeking an energetic Food & Beverage/Banquet Manager to oversee banquet events from weddings on the beach to corporate functions. You will manage shifts, coordinate with clients, and ensure flawless service and presentation.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Director, you will lead a team to deliver Great Hospitality. The role emphasizes detail, quality, and a positive work environment, with opportunities to work across in-house restaurants and venues.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-service, high-volume restaurant/banquet management experience.
• Demonstrated working understanding of business operations and financials.
• Strong communication skills.
• Dependable, reliable, and motivated.
• Able to work ten-hour plus shifts, plus ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage shifts including daily decision making and planning.
• Coordinate with clients to understand event requirements and expectations.
• Coordinate event operation including food & beverage service, setup and breakdown.
• Train hourly staff to improve guest experience.
• Perform end-of-month liquor/beer/wine inventories accurately.
• Understand flavors, aromas, and characteristics of food ingredients and wines to ensure the highest standard in guest experience.
• Work with kitchen team to evaluate prep levels and food quality.
