Job summary

White Lodging Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Banquet Executive Chef to lead the opening and ongoing culinary operations of Hotel Trinity in Austin, TX. This is a ground-up role to hire, develop, and set the culture for a premier banquet program in a luxury Marriott Autograph Collection hotel.

You will oversee banquets, plan menus, ensure culinary quality and safety, and drive profitability while mentoring a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of F&B operational procedures.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience is required; experience with upscale properties is a plus.
• Interest in training and developing future F&B leaders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee day-to-day banquet culinary operations and direct associates.
• Create and implement menu selections for special banquet themes and events.
• Ensure consistency in food preparation according to hotel recipes and standards.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies.
• Contribute to maximizing departmental profit.
• Monitor quality of production, presentation, guest satisfaction, and costs.
• Coach and develop team members, provide evaluations and training.
• Contribute to kitchen business strategies and planning.
• Supervise daily setup for menu and adjust schedules for volume.
