Job summary

Hilton Columbia Center in Columbia, SC is seeking a detail-oriented Banquet and Events Houseperson to ensure banquet spaces are set up, maintained, and reset to hotel standards. This role requires physical stamina, teamwork, and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

You will support banquet servers, assist with event staging and breakdowns, uphold safety and cleanliness, and coordinate with the Banquet Manager to deliver exceptional experiences for meetings and events.

• Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications.
• Follow Banquet Event Orders for room configurations.
• Assist with breakdowns and store equipment properly for future use.
• Replenish supplies and assist servers during events.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve minor issues quickly.
