Job summary

Specialty Restaurants Corporation is seeking an experienced Banquet Server to join our Special Events team. You will deliver outstanding dining experiences at weddings, corporate events and other occasions, ensuring 100% guest satisfaction throughout each function.

Responsibilities include setting up banquet rooms, greeting guests, serving meals and beverages, coordinating with the kitchen, and maintaining a clean, safe environment while complying with responsible alcohol service guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ banquet server experience or similar role preferred.
• Strong customer service focus delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with guests and team.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required by events.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service etiquette and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and arrangement of banquet rooms per event specifications.
• Ensure tables, chairs, linens and tableware are neatly presented.
• Verify seating details and special requests for accuracy.
• Greet guests, escort to tables and serve meals and beverages per standards.
• Coordinate timely food delivery between kitchen and banquet floor.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly; address inquiries professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in banquet areas; adhere to alcohol service guidelines.
