Job summary

Wedgewood Weddings in Scituate, MA is seeking a dependable Part-Time Banquet Dishwasher to keep our kitchen clean during events. You’ll operate and maintain dishwashing machines, sanitize dishes, and support banquet and kitchen staff in a fast-paced setting.

No previous dishwashing experience required but welcomed; must be able to stand long hours, lift heavy items, and work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Wedgewood Weddings is a family-owned company with 70+ venues coast to coast.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing experience is a bonus but not necessary.
• Ability to work quickly in a busy environment.
• Capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy items.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, and utensils used during events.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines.
• Store clean dishes and equipment in designated places.
• Keep the dishwashing area clean and manage trash and recycling.
• Collaborate with banquet and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Pitch in with additional tasks to support event success.
