Job summary

Plantation Lakes Golf and Country Club in Millsboro, DE seeks a Full-Time Banquet Director to lead events from inquiry to post-event follow-up, collaborating with F&B leadership, culinary team, and clients to ensure flawless execution.

The role oversees weddings, corporate functions, golf outings, and private parties, manages staffing, menus, room layouts, and timelines, while promoting offerings and building client relationships for repeat business.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in banquets, event coordination, hospitality, restaurant management, catering, or sales.
• Management or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to banquet and private event inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Book and coordinate weddings, private parties, corporate events and other functions.
• Coordinate with culinary and F&B leadership to ensure proper staffing and service times.
• Prepare event details, banquet event orders, timelines, and room layouts.
• Lead banquet staff and maintain client communication throughout planning and execution.
