Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a banquet cook to prepare menu items for events in accordance with banquet orders and quality standards. You will receive computer-generated or hand-written orders and ensure accurate portions and timely service.

This on-site role requires standing, walking throughout shifts, and lifting up to 25 pounds, while keeping the workstation clean and organized. Prior banquet experience and required licenses/certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in banquet or similar position preferred.
• Must read and understand food orders and banquet specs.
• Must stand and walk for the duration of shift.
• Must be able to move 25 pounds during shift.
• Must obtain/maintain required licenses and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Receive and understand computer-generated and/or hand-written food orders and banquet specification sheets.
• Prepare food according to customer specifications, quality and portion standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of work station.
• Maintain established inventory levels of work station.
