Job summary

Fontainebleau Las Vegas, LLC seeks a Lead Convention Porter to efficiently set up and break down convention events, delivering luxury service. You will coordinate with managers to ensure flawless execution and guest satisfaction on a fast-paced floor.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a solid understanding of health and safety regulations, with the aim of driving revenue while maintaining premium standards for all banquets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year Banquets/Catering in a high-volume, luxury hotel with a minimum banquet space of 200,000 square feet.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and HACCP.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup, service, and breakdown of convention/banquet events.
• Ensure luxury service with consistent standards across all guests.
• Coordinate with managers to maintain timely service and upsell opportunities.
• Maintain knowledge of banquet menu items, room setups, bar menus, and service functions.
• Uphold health, safety, and OSHA requirements in all banquet areas.
