Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking an experienced Banquet Chef for South Seas on Captiva Island, Florida. Lead culinary execution for banquet, catering, and group events across a premier resort complex within the Pyramid portfolio.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of professional food and beverage experience in high-volume settings, strong leadership, and a focus on quality, sanitation, and guest experience. Open availability is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of professional culinary experience in resort/hotel banquet environments.
• Previous banquet culinary leadership and supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to read and execute banquet orders, recipes, and timelines; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead culinary production for banquets, weddings, meetings and events.
• Plan and oversee banquet food preparation for quality and timely execution.
• Review BEOs and event timelines to plan production and staffing.
• Coordinate with Banquet, Catering, Conference Services and F&B leadership.
• Supervise culinary team during preparation, production, plating, and service.
• Assist with menu development and cost control.
