Job summary

Westgate Resorts seeks a Banquet Chef to lead culinary operations for weddings, conferences, and resort functions. You will supervise banquet cooks, oversee high-volume production, and ensure exceptional quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction.

You will plan menus, manage production schedules, and collaborate with Catering Managers and F&B leadership to deliver flawless event experiences across multiple formats.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience in hotels, resorts, or large events.
• Proven track record managing high-volume banquet production for weddings, conferences, and large functions.
• Experience supervising and developing culinary teams in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee banquet menus for large events and weddings.
• Manage high-volume production, buffet setup, plating, and service timing.
• Train and develop banquet staff; monitor quality and costs.
• Coordinate with Banquet Captains, Catering Managers, and leadership for event success.
• Develop production schedules and monitor inventory and waste to maintain efficiency.
