Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners is seeking a kitchen team member to support daily pantry and fry station prep for hotel guests. You will prepare items per recipe, ensure quality, and maintain sanitary standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include accurate assembly of orders, proper temperature control, and assisting with buffet stock. Prior kitchen experience and basic English communication are required.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience. Culinary certificate or degree preferred.
• Three - Six months in a food/beverage services environment or establishment.
• Strong knowledge of operating industrial sized ovens and cooking ranges.
• Knowledge of preparing different types of cuisines, relishes, soups and salads.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards, production and portion standards.
• Start items ahead of time to avoid overproduction.
• Assemble multiple orders accurately and timely.
• Rotate perishables and maintain proper temperatures and storage.
• Monitor pars, prep necessary items, and assist in buffet stocking.
• Return unused items to storage with date coverage.
• Assist in correcting food cost problems and reducing waste.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
