The Marcus Corporation's Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh is seeking a Banquet Chef to lead high-quality catering events in a boutique hotel setting. You’ll manage prep, maintain cleanliness, coordinate with Catering and Banquets teams, and deliver exceptional guest experiences with precision and teamwork.

With 2+ years of kitchen experience and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays, you’ll help across the kitchen and grow your career within Marcus Hotels & Resorts.

• 2+ years relative experience in a kitchen of similar size.
• Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• As the Banquet Chef, you'll maintain a clean work station, be efficient and have the ability to work in a team environment.
• Provide our guests excellent food quality in an attractive environment and with professional service.
• Work closely with the Catering and Banquets teams to ensure smooth execution of functions from start to finish.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in kitchen facilities, including equipment.
• Prevent waste and contamination of foods by proper sanitation practices and health compliance.
• Know and comply with standard portion size, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules.
• Attend weekly BEO and Resume meetings.
• Order and inventory foods for catered events.
• Meet all quality standards set by our executive chef.

What will you be doing?

As the Banquet Chef, you'll maintain a clean work station , be efficient and have the ability to work in a team environment and most importantly you will make some pretty amazing food with some pretty amazing people.

Provide our guests excellent food quality in an attractive environment and with professional service.

Work closely with the Catering and Banquets teams to ensure smooth execution of functions from start to finish.

Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in kitchen facilities, including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven , flat top range and refrigeration equipment.

Prevent waste and contamination of foods by exhibiting proper sanitation practices and ensuring compliance with policy and health regulations.

Know and comply consistently with our standard portion size, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.

Attend weekly BEO and Resume meetings.

Order and inventory foods for catered events.

Meet all quality standards set by our executive chef.

Salary Range:

$60,000-$75,000
