Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh is seeking a talented Banquet Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and efficiency while providing top-notch food quality and service. You'll collaborate with the Catering and Banquets teams to ensure successful event execution.

The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of experience in a similar kitchen environment and a flexible schedule to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Numerous benefits, including medical insurance and room discounts, are offered.

What will you be doing?

As the Banquet Chef, you'll maintain a clean work station, be efficient and have the ability to work in a team environment and most importantly you will make some pretty amazing food with some pretty amazing people.

• Provide our guests excellent food quality in an attractive environment and with professional service.
• Work closely with the Catering and Banquets teams to ensure smooth execution of functions from start to finish.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in kitchen facilities, including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, saute burners, convection oven, flat top range and refrigeration equipment.
• Prevent waste and contamination of foods by exhibiting proper sanitation practices and ensuring compliance with policy and health regulations.
• Know and comply consistently with our standard portion size, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
• Attend weekly BEO and Resume meetings.
• Order and inventory foods for catered events.
• Meet all quality standards set by our executive chef
