Job summary

Garden of the Gods Resort and Club seeks a culinary leader to supervise and coordinate the preparation of Catering and Banquet food, ensuring execution of all banquet and catering functions to the standards set by the Executive Chef. Serves as the MOD in the absence of executive leadership and acts as the main liaison between restaurant management and the heart of the house.

Qualifications

• Requires advanced knowledge of specialized, technical or a through knowledge of the practices and techniques of a professional field.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates production of food according to menu specifications and culinary training.
• Inspects the quality of food products used in the cuisine and informs the chef when the quality is unacceptable.
• Maintains proper working order of all equipment and reports deficiencies to the chef and engineering.
• Greet guests and staff with service standards and uphold the Garden of the Gods Resort and Club's brand, culture, vision, mission and values.

Education

High school diploma or higher

Culinary degree or ACF certification preferred
