Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality, owner of InterContinental Seattle Bellevue, offers a premier banquet service role in Bellevue. Join a luxury team focused on flawless event execution and guest satisfaction within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of Banquet service experience, preferably with knowledge of event logistics and leadership roles.
• Experience in a luxury venue with synchronized service.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.

Responsibilities

• Manage guest interaction and communicate with on-site contacts, event hosts and vendors.
• Work alongside culinary team and Director of Catering to ensure events are executed flawlessly.
• Prepare task agendas for staff and ensure BEOs are followed.
• Maintain pristine event space and conduct daily walk-throughs.
• Coordinate with hotel departments to deliver excellent service as a team.
• Assist with serving, bartending, or houseperson duties as needed.

What you will have an opportunity to do

• Manage Guest interaction and directly communicate with on‑site contacts, event hosts and adjacent vendors.
• Works alongside the Culinary Team and Director of Catering to ensure all events are executed flawlessly.
• Prepare task agendas for staff and ensure BEOs are being followed and executed properly.
• Ensure event space is maintained to pristine condition and conduct daily walk throughs of the space.
• Communicate on a daily basis with other hotel departments to provide excellent service as a collective team.
• Serving guest needs by providing knowledge of menu items, and information on how it is prepared.
• Perform any needed role such as serving, bartending or houseperson duties.
• Anticipate guest needs, offer suggestions, problem solve, and quickly address and respond accordingly to guest concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.

What are we looking for

• 2-4 years of Banquet service experience, preferably with an extensive knowledge of event logistics and leadership roles.
• Experience in a luxury venue with synchronized service.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.
• Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
• Service oriented style with professional presentation skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and anticipate customer needs.
• Obtain a valid and current WA Food handler’s card and MAST permit.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
