Job summary

Flying Horse Resort and Club is seeking a Banquet Captain to supervise banquet events and ensure top-tier service. You will work closely with the Banquet Operations Manager and Leads to execute events smoothly, coordinating with multiple departments and managing staff while complying with labor laws and safety standards.

The role requires at least 3 years in banquet or hospitality with leadership experience, a flexible schedule, and the ability to manage details under pressure in a luxury resort

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of banquet or hospitality with leadership experience.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise banquet servers during events.
• Ensure all event details are executed per client requests.
• Supervise, train, and monitor banquet staff performance and provide guidance to ensure efficient and professional service.
• Collaborate with Sr. F&B Manager and Banquet Operations Manager to ensure compliance with Colorado labor laws.
• Monitor banquet setup and breakdown, ensuring accuracy in table settings, décor, and AV equipment.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations are adhered to in compliance with Colorado state laws.
