Job Overview: A Banquet Captain oversees the setup and cleanup of food and beverage services during banquet functions, ensuring exceptional guest service and profitability.

Responsibilities include:

• Setting up tables and chairs according to event specifications
• Cleaning meeting spaces before, during, and after events, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing, and wiping
• Completing assigned side work adhering to health standards
• Complying with liquor regulations, including responsible alcohol service
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Supervising food and beverage service to ensure quality
• Assisting in planning and executing various banquet events
• Greeting clients and guests, responding promptly to requests
• Participating in department meetings
• Processing banquet checks accurately
