Job summary

Atrium Hospitality is seeking a banquet-focused professional to join our Raleigh area hotel team. You will lead setup and breakdown for events, manage service flow, and mentor staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires a proactive leader with 6+ months banquet experience, customer service skills, and willingness to obtain food and alcohol certifications within 90 days. Physical stamina is essential for this on-site position.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the setup and breakdown of banquet events with linens, silverware, and china.
  • Coordinate the flow of service to ensure meals are served smoothly and on time.
  • Guide and motivate the banquet team to deliver guest experiences.
  • Handle audio-visual setup and troubleshoot as needed.
  • Assist with scheduling, training, and inventory to keep operations running smoothly.

Full time Compensation Range : $19.00

What You Will Do:
  • Lead the setup and breakdown of banquet events with precision-clean linens, polished silverware, and chip-free china only, please.
  • Coordinate the flow of service like a pro, ensuring meals are served smoothly and on time.
  • Guide and motivate the banquet team to deliver top-notch guest experiences, from coffee breaks to full-service dinners.
  • Handle audio-visual setup and troubleshooting-yes, you’ll be part tech support too.
  • Assist with scheduling, training, and inventory to keep the operation running like clockwork.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Customer service experience—because happy guests are the heart of hospitality.
  • At least 6 months of banquet food service experience-we need someone who’s seen a plated dinner or two.
  • Leadership potential or experience—you’re not afraid to guide a team and step in where needed.
  • Food and alcohol certifications (or willingness to complete in 90 days)—because safety is always in style.
  • Physical stamina—this role includes lifting, bending, walking, and standing during your entire shift.
