What You Will Be Doing

Our professionals are the most important resource in our service commitment to our customers. We foster a progressive environment where challenging, empowered, and purposeful work is celebrated. Our Banquet Captains manage and execute the setup, cleanup, maintenance, and breakdown of banquets, weddings, meetings, and events at The Marq Southlake. This role also supports the Special Events Coordinator in setting up, implementing, and breaking down city-wide special events, all while delivering outstanding guest service.

Other Responsibilities Include

• Customer Service: Respond promptly to customer needs, resolve inquiries and complaints, communicate effectively with city departments, and develop solutions using current technologies.
• Attention to Detail: Perform tasks carefully, check for accuracy, and ensure work quality.
• Facility Operations: Maintain event spaces, manage equipment, address guest needs, and keep storage areas organized.
• Availability: Weekends & nights; 10-20 hours per week.
