This position serves as the on-site leader during events, coordinating banquet staff, communicating with culinary and event teams, and ensuring service standards, event specifications, and guest expectations are consistently exceeded.What You Will AccomplishKey ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise banquet staff during meetings, conferences, weddings, social events, and other catered functionsConduct pre-event meetings to review event details, assignments, service expectations, and operational proceduresEnsure banquet event orders (BEOs) are accurately executed according to client specificationsCoordinate with culinary, sales, event planning, and operations teams to ensure seamless event executionMonitor event timelines and adjust staffing and service flow as neededServe as the primary point of contact for guests, clients, and event organizers during assigned functions.Ensure exceptional hospitality and professional service throughout all events.Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concernsRespond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concernsAnticipate guest needs and proactively address service opportunitiesMaintain a visible presence during events to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiencyHandle service recovery situations professionally and escalate concerns when necessaryOversee banquet room setup and breakdown according to event specifications and company standards.Inspect event spaces before service to ensure proper setup, cleanliness, and readinessCoordinate food and beverage service, ensuring timely delivery and presentationMonitor staff performance and provide coaching and direction throughout eventsEnsure proper handling and storage of banquet equipment, linens, china, glassware, and silverwareVerify accuracy of event setups, menu selections, audiovisual needs, and special requests.Review banquet event orders (BEOs) and communicate event details to banquet staffAssist with scheduling, staffing assignments, and labor management as directedComplete event reports and communicate operational feedback to managementMonitor inventory levels and report equipment or supply needsAssist in training and onboarding new banquet team membersWhat You Will BringQualificationsHospitality, hotel, restaurant, or event management experience preferred.Previous banquet serving or banquet leadership experience requiredStrong knowledge of banquet service standards and event operations.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience with banquet event orders (BEOs) and event coordination preferred.Food Handler and Alcohol Service certifications as required by local regulationsAbility to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special eventsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and carrying banquet equipment.Ability to work long shifts during large-scale events and functionsAbility to move throughout banquet spaces and service areas efficiently.OS&E Coordinator – New Hotel OpeningPosition SummaryThe OS&E Coordinator is responsible for planning, purchasing, tracking, receiving, storing, and distributing all Operating Supplies & Equipment (OS&E) required for the successful opening of the hotel. This role works closely with the project team, ownership, procurement, contractors, designers, and hotel department leaders to ensure all operational supplies, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and office materials are installed, organized, and ready for opening day.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate all OS&E procurement activities from project initiation through hotel opening.Develop and maintain OS&E budgets, inventories, procurement schedules, and tracking reports.Coordinate receiving, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution of all OS&E items.Assist with the delivery, assembly, placement, and installation of furniture, fixtures, and operational equipment throughout the hotel.Support the setup and organization of guest rooms, public spaces, back-of-house areas, offices, and operational departments.Assist department leaders with setting up offices, including furniture placement, office supplies, filing systems, and operational materials.Coordinate the movement and relocation of furniture, equipment, and supplies as operational needs change during the pre-opening phase.Work alongside contractors, vendors, and hotel staff to ensure departments are fully equipped and operational according to the opening schedule.Conduct quality inspections of delivered goods and report damaged, missing, or incorrect items.Maintain accurate inventory records, asset documentation, and storage organization.Monitor purchase orders, invoices, and expenditures to ensure budget compliance.Assist with room and departmental installations, mock operations, and opening readiness activities.Support hotel leadership with special projects and operational tasks necessary to achieve a successful opening.Physical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, crouch/bend/stoop, reach, smell, and push/pull, the employee is constantly required to hear and talk. The employee must occasionally sit, grasp, and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
