Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Banquet Captain for our Baltimore venue. You will supervise banquet staff during events, oversee setup, service and breakdown, and ensure guest satisfaction with safe, smooth execution.

The role requires at least one year as Banquet Captain (hotel experience preferred), plus Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness certifications. Flexible scheduling across days, evenings, and weekends is expected.

• At least one year of experience as a Banquet Captain, preferably at a hotel.
• Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness certifications are required.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise banquet staff during assigned functions and setup.

• Ensure clear communication and teamwork throughout events.

Job description

• Pay or shift range: $13 USD to $15 USD
  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Here is what you will be doing each day:

In this role, you will s upervise banquet staff in the completion of the assigned functions and set-up, as well as oversee the service and break-down functions in a safe manner. Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Ability to meet standards of appearance. Can communicate well with guests. Ability to transport up to 30 lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help coworkers with their job duties and be a team player.

You have at least one year of experience as a Banquet Captain preferably at a hotel. You have your Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness certification. You don’t shy away from physical work and take pride in providing our guest with memorable service and experience.
