Job summary

The Union League of Philadelphia is seeking a Beverage Supervisor for Banquets to support the Beverage Manager in delivering premier beverage service at all banquet events. You will collaborate with the banquet management team and bar staff to maintain consistent service across events and beverage spaces.

Responsibilities include coordinating beverage setups, training staff, monitoring service standards, and ensuring proper handling and storage of products.

Qualifications

• Prior beverage service or banquet operations experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Open availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• RAMP certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assist with execution of banquet beverage setups (bars, specialty stations, wine service).
• Ensure accurate staging of beverage products according to BEOs.
• Monitor staff to uphold Union League service standards during events.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of beverage products before, during, and after events.
• Assist in training banquet bartenders and servers on beverage standards and service expectations.
• Support inventory, ordering, and storage organization for banquet beverage products.
