Job summary

Century Golf Partners in Buckeye, AZ, seeks a Bartender to provide high-quality beverage production and service across club venues and events. You will maintain the bar, service areas, and storerooms, stocking and cleaning to keep bar ready at all times.

The role requires previous bartending experience, beverage knowledge, and certifications; you will operate the POS, serve guests professionally, and help exceed guest expectations. Rate of pay is $12.15 per hour plus tips.

Position Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Bartender is responsible for providing the highest quality of beverage production and service to our guests. In addition to supporting all Club venues, events and fellow employee partners in delivering quality beverages and service, the Bartender maintains the bar, bar service areas and related storerooms in a neat, organized and secure manner. The Bartender follows the proper procedures for stocking, cleaning and ensuring opening/closing duties are performed to ensure bar readiness at all times.Responsible to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to passholders and guests in a professional and pleasant manner.

Rate of pay is $12.15 per hour plus tips or service fees

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Previous bartending experience required.
• A working knowledge of bar related beverages, spirits, wine and beer.
• A working knowledge of the most common cocktails and mixed drinks
• Food Handler's Certification as as well as AZ Title 4 Alcohol Server Certification
• Possesses a passion for exceeding Guest expectations and a commitment to excellence that results in providing the highest quality guest experience.
• Pick up restaurant bar shifts as needed.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mix, prepare, and serve drinks according to recipes approved by the Food and Beverage Management Team.
• Issue checks for drinks served via electronic input system.
• Assist with inventory of liquors, beers, wines by following established procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness in bar area including cleaning equipment and keeping glasses polished.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS

• Lift 20 lbs. over head.
• Be able to stand on feet for long periods of time.
• Be able to use a point of sale system, computer, calculator, credit card machine.
• High customer volume at times

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS

The bar is sometimes outside during events; must be willing to work in all weather conditions
