Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Banquet Bartender/Server for the Blackwell Inn location. This intermittent, on-site role supports events with set-up, service, and clean-up, offering $15–$17 per hour based on experience.

Varying shifts and a fast-paced environment require composure and strong guest service. TIPS/cash handling training is provided, and the team works year-round at the Blackwell and Pfahl Conference Center.

Responsibilities

The Blackwell Banquets Servers and Bartenders assists with set-up, teardown, and successful execution of all events, meetings, and special events at The Blackwell and Pfahl Conference Center; provides exceptional and anticipatory customer service to hotel clients during their events; maintains a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices; maintains composure in a fast-paced environment and responds quickly and appropriately to any guest requests/concerns; other duties as assigned. TIPS and cash handling training is provided and required. The hotel operates 7 days, Sunday through Saturday, 365 days a year. Only scheduled when business levels require. Must be at least 21 years of age. This position would cover Servers and bartenders.

Salary

The hourly rate for this position is $15-$17 based on experience.

Background Check
