We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Banquet Bartender to join the AC Hotel team in downtown Greenville. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages at banquet events while providing exceptional service to guests. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Essential Job Functions

• Set up and break down the banquet bar according to event specifications.
• Mix, garnish, and serve beverages following recipes and company standards.
• Ensure compliance with all liquor laws and company policies regarding responsible alcohol service.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking and restocking supplies as needed.
• Interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner and respond to their beverage requests.
• Monitor guests’ alcohol consumption and follow proper procedures for handling intoxicated patrons.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with inventory control and report any shortages or overages.
• Work closely with banquet servers and event staff to ensure seamless service.

Experience/Education

• Previous experience as a bartender, preferably in a banquet or catering setting.
• Knowledge of mixology, cocktail preparation, and beverage pairings.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
• TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Must be able to read, write and speak English.
