Job summary

The Wheaton Park District is seeking a part-time Banquet Bartender for Arrowhead Golf Club. You will mix and pour drinks, take food orders, and keep the bar area efficient during events.

You must be at least 21 with 2+ years of experience, be English proficient, and complete on-site menu training and a final exam. This role offers hourly pay with tips and varied hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with 2+ years of experience.
• Must communicate in English and have verbal, written, and listening skills.
• Must complete onsite menu training and final exam.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and maintain professional appearance.
• Verify guests' ages for alcohol service.
• Explain menu items and daily specials to guests and make recommendations.
• Mix and prepare alcoholic beverages, beers, and wines.
• Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the computer for kitchen transmission.
• Use the POS system to record sales and generate guest bills.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary bar area and assist servers as needed.
• Monitor pouring sizes to control liquor, beer and wine costs.
