Job summary

Pendry, a Montage Hotels & Resorts property, seeks a Banquet Bartender to deliver exceptional service at events and in venues across the hotel. You will greet guests, take orders, mix cocktails, and upsell menu items while maintaining a polished bar area.

You should enjoy spirits and wine, communicate clearly, collaborate with a team, and be flexible to work weekends and holidays. Luxury-hotel experience is a plus, and you’ll join a culture that values hospitality, integrity, and guest WOW

Responsibilities

• Interact one on one with guests, take orders, make cocktails, upsell and ensure guest satisfaction.

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the bar and stock supplies.
• Work as a team and communicate with management, bartenders, and service staff.

Banquet Bartender

Your Journey

• Interact one on one with guests, take orders, make cocktails, upsell, ensure guest satisfaction and anticipate guest needs
• Exhibit proper knowledge, selling techniques and service delivery of both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, and any menu items offered
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the bar, stocking with appropriate products and supplies
• Work as a team and effectively communicating with management, bartenders, and service staff
• Deliver on guests’ expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments
• Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties based on business needs

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift
• Ability to push and pull food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi - regular basis

The pay scale for the Banquet Bartender position is $8 per hour. This pay scale reflects the base hourly wage and does not include incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, or similar forms of compensation that Montage may reasonably expect to pay for the position.
