Banquet Bartender (On-Call) - Hilton Portland Downtown

The beautiful Hilton Portland Downtown is looking to add on-call Banquet Bartenders to their events team! Enjoy great perks such as complimentary shift meals and room discounts at Hilton hotels worldwide for you and your family.

Shift Pattern: Varying shifts, union position, requests made a few weeks in advance.

Hourly Rate: $17.65 plus tip pool.

Ideal Candidate:

• At least 1 year of recent bartending experience, banquet experience preferred.
• Current OLCC and Food Handlers certifications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Genuine spirit to provide exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and respond to inquiries promptly and courteously.
• Mix and garnish beverages according to recipes and portion standards.
• Serve beverages to guests professionally.
• Check IDs and serve alcohol in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Process payments accurately.
• Stock and maintain the bar, including beer, wine, spirits, and supplies.
• Ensure the quality and safety of beverage perishables.
• Respond professionally to inebriated guests as needed.
