Job summary

Westin Greensboro is seeking a Banquet Bartender for a part-time, on-site role in a banquet setting. You will take orders, mix drinks and engage guests with a friendly, attentive demeanor.

Responsibilities include serving drinks, verifying IDs, setting up and breaking down a portable bar, and returning supplies to their proper places. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, bartending experience, and a valid Food Handler’s Permit.

What You’ll Do:

No banquet is complete without its bar and our hotel is no exception. As the Banquet Bartender, be prepared to bring your ultra-friendly personality to bear while you’re taking orders, mixing drinks, and chatting up customers.

Here are just a few of the tasks you’ll be completing on a daily basis:

• Make and serve drinks to guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner.
• Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
• Set up a portable bar in the function area
• Break down and clean bar thoroughly and return all supplies to their proper area.

Where You’ve Been:

We’re looking for someone with a High School diploma or equivalent, previous bartending experience, and a current Food Handler’s Permit. Most importantly, you’re someone who is capable of thinking on their feet and able to keep up in high-pressure situations. If that sounds like you, go ahead and apply.

There will be occasions when you may be carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending/twisting, climbing stairs and working on slippery floors.
