Job summary

Stonebridge Companies is seeking a Banquet Bartender to mix, pour and serve beverages at events in Montgomery, TX. You will set up bars, manage stock, and ensure guest satisfaction while following safety rules and regulations.

The role requires strong cash handling skills, excellent communication, and adherence to all licensing requirements. The position is on-call and non-exempt, with a pay range that includes tips.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a bartender, preferably in banquet or event settings.
• Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately.
• Familiarity with alcohol service regulations and TIPS certification (or obtain within 30 days).

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous service to guests at all times.
• Mix, pour, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as required.
• Set up and stock bars in advance of events with beverages and supplies.
• Inventory beverage products before and after each event for cost reconciliation.
• Secure alcohol and equipment at the close of each event.
• Serve beverages responsibly and ensure compliance with legal limits.
• Collaborate with Banquet Manager to control costs and costs-to-sales ratios.
• Work with security to refuse service to intoxicated guests.
• Attend department meetings and contribute to banquet services.
