JOB TITLE: Banquet Bartender

DIVISION: Food and Beverage

REPORTS TO: Banquet Manager

LOCATION: Solitude Mountain Resort

CLASSIFICATION: Occasional / Seasonal / Hourly

We currently have openings for Seasonal Banquet Bartenders for our Summer Banquet operations within the Food & Beverage Department. As a Banquet Bartender, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional customer service while serving a variety of classic and signature cocktails, as well as beer and wine, during private events. Your duties include greeting customers, understanding their preferences, addressing inquiries, offering menu recommendations, and expertly preparing and serving beverages.

Specific Job Requirements:

• Must be professional, friendly, social, and outgoing
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Reliable and punctual
• Experience with POS systems, bar tools & equipment
• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine
• Ability to work at a fast pace, multi-task, and recall information accurately
• Previous bartending experience required; Private Event bartending experience preferred
• Sips 'n Tips Certification - required
• Food Handlers Permit - required

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Take and serve drink orders, logging them accurately in the POS system
• Create a friendly and comfortable atmosphere
• Keep the bar clean and organized
• Manage beer, wine, and liquor inventory
• Offer recommendations and suggestions to guests
• Verify IDs of customers who appear under 35
• Track berg/clicker numbers daily, including spillage and misclicks
• Balance cash at the end of each shift
• Perform cashier duties using POS system
• Assist guests with resort and local area information
• Build rapport with banquet and wedding guests
• Stand for long durations and lift up to 30 lbs
