Job summary

Commonwealth Lodging Management LLC seeks a Banquet Bartender for the Marriott Norfolk Waterside in Norfolk, VA. You will join our hospitality team delivering energetic, professional service at weddings, conferences, and other events.

Responsibilities include preparing and serving beverages, mixing drinks per recipes, verifying IDs, handling cash/POS, upselling offerings, and keeping the bar clean and stocked. 21+ with 2+ years of bartending preferred.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum Age: 21 Years Old
• 2+ Years of Bartending or Barback Experience Preferred
• Previous Food & Beverage Experience Preferred
• Cash Handling Experience Preferred
• POS System Experience Preferred
• Alcohol Awareness Certification Preferred
• Knowledge of Beer, Wine, Spirits, and Cocktail Preparation
• Strong Communication and Guest Service Skills
