Job summary

First Hospitality seeks a friendly, productive bar staff member to support daily service at Hotel Northland. You will prepare and stock the bar, craft cocktails accurately, and assist in maintaining banquet and dining areas. Guest-focused service and teamwork are essential to our hospitality standard.

The role requires standing for long periods, flexible hours including weekends, and a safe alcohol-serving certification. Join a historic Green Bay property with modern amenities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide excellent guest service and handle guest concerns with empathy.
• Strong teamwork and communication with bar and dining staff.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Flexible scheduling including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the bar for service by cleaning, stocking supplies, and retrieving liquor and mixers as per event order.
• Prepare cocktails and beverages to specification with accuracy and special requests.
• Clear tables and assist in cleaning banquet and dining rooms during and after service.

Job description

What you’ll be doing…

• Prepare the bar for service by cleaning, stocking supplies, and retrieve appropriate liquor, mixes, etc. based on event order.
• Prepare cocktails and other beverages to specification with accuracy, honoring special requests when possible.
• Clear tables throughout the dining experience using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware and silverware
• Clean the bar and assist in cleaning the banquet and dining rooms during and after the dining experience
• Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service
• Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems.
• Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction Guarantee
• Performs other duties as required to provide genuine hospitality

You should be able to…

• Stand and walk for hours at a time.
• Have safe alcohol serving certification.
• Work flexible work schedules including morning, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, bending, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity
