Job summary

Grasslands Club is seeking a Banquet Bartender to play a central role at our premier events. You will greet guests at the bar, craft cocktails and beverages, and contribute to a memorable, VIP experience while maintaining smooth service across setups and breakdowns.

The role rewards hospitality, teamwork, and a polished presence. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Qualifications

• Tennessee ABC server permit, or willingness to obtain one after hire.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Craft and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages with care, speed, and a smile.
• Create a warm, engaging bar experience; remember names and make recommendations.
• Serve responsibly and follow Tennessee alcohol laws and club policies.
• Keep the bar clean, stocked, and running smoothly during busy periods.
• Collaborate with banquet servers, captains, and culinary team to set up and run events.
• Present a polished, professional presence reflecting Grasslands standards.

As a Banquet Bartender, you're at the center of it all. You set the tone the moment a guest walks up to your bar. We're looking for bartenders who love the energy of a great event, take pride in their craft, and want to be part of a team that has each other's backs from setup to last call.

What You'll Do

• Craft and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages with care, speed, and a smile
• Create a warm, engaging bar experience. Remember names, make recommendations, and make every guest feel like a VIP
• Serve responsibly and follow all Tennessee alcohol laws and club policies, every time
• Keep your bar clean, stocked, and running smoothly, even when it's three deep
• Work alongside banquet servers, captains, and the culinary team to set up, run, and break down events seamlessly
• Bring a polished, professional presence that reflects the Grasslands standard

Schedule

Events are the heart of this role, so weekend availability is essential. We also need help on our busiest holidays. Holiday shifts are rotated fairly among the team, so no one works every one.
