Job summary

First Hospitality is hiring a bartender to support bar service for events and dining experiences. The role emphasizes cleanliness, stocking, and precise beverage preparation while honoring guest requests.

Teamwork and proactive guest service are essential to ensure memorable hospitality experiences. The position requires flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on safety and consistent guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have safe alcohol serving certification.
• Stand and walk for long periods.
• Work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
• Lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
• Manual dexterity and good vision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the bar for service by cleaning, stocking supplies, and retrieving liquor and mixes according to event orders.
• Prepare cocktails and beverages to specification, honoring special requests when possible.
• Clear tables during dining using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware, and silverware.
• Clean the bar and assist in cleaning the banquet and dining rooms during and after service.
• Provide attentive guest service with personal responsibility and teamwork.
• Listen and respond empathetically to guest issues, resolve problems, and follow up.
• Notice guest dissatisfaction and use judgment to apply the 100% Guest Satisfaction Guarantee when appropriate.
• Perform other duties to deliver genuine hospitality.

• Prepare cocktails and other beverages to specification with accuracy, honoring special requests when possible.
• Clear tables throughout the dining experience using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware and silverware
• Clean the bar and assist in cleaning the banquet and dining rooms during and after the dining experience
• Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service
• Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems.
• Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction Guarantee
• Performs other duties as required to provide genuine hospitality
