Strata Information Group (SIG) has been a trusted partner to over 1,000 higher education institutions globally since 1988, offering solutions in Strategy & Optimization Consulting, Enterprise Applications Implementation, Managed Services, Data Services, and Cybersecurity.

This is a remote position, open to both full-time and part-time applicants, with some travel required. The role involves supporting, maintaining, and enhancing Ellucian Banner environments in collaboration with functional stakeholders and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and support during Banner software implementation.
• Troubleshoot and develop solutions for Banner-related client requests.
• Manage multiple projects to ensure timely delivery based on client priorities.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years in Higher Education
• Expertise in Banner technologies and PL/SQL
• Experience in Java, JavaScript, Groovy/Grails
• Familiarity with SQL Developer, Toad, Eclipse, IntelliJ
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JSON, RESTful APIs
• Proficiency with Git
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
• Willingness to learn, collaborate, and travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Banner Extensibility and Ellucian Ethos
• Data migration experience
• Knowledge of Ellucian Insights, Banner Workflow, Document Management, Degree Works, and automation tools like Automic

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 + Bonus
