We are seeking experienced professionals with a background in Ellucian Banner, specifically in Finance, for part-time opportunities. In this role, you will work with clients to implement and optimize Banner, leveraging your expertise in Banner, finance business processes, and best practices to drive successful outcomes. Our employees work remotely and may travel to client sites occasionally.

• Collaborate with business units to understand financial operations and requirements.
• Consult with clients on utilizing technological tools to improve business processes.
• Configure the Banner financial module to meet business needs.
• Use Banner to improve and automate finance office processes at colleges or universities.
• Assist in testing and implementing financial software.
• Troubleshoot system issues related to usage, configuration, and data integrity.
• Provide end-user training and support documentation.
• Stay informed of industry changes and recommend system enhancements for increased efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in the Higher Education Industry.
• At least 5 years of advanced proficiency with Ellucian Banner.
• Experience implementing the Banner Finance module at higher education institutions.
• Strong knowledge of financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and purchasing.
• Experience in a consulting role, focusing on process enhancement and efficiency.
• Ability to troubleshoot Banner functional issues and communicate requirements effectively.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and a customer service mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing project-based work.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Pay Transparency

• The hourly pay range for this role is $45-63.
