Ideal candidates hold a JD, are admitted to the Virginia Bar or have a clerkship in bankruptcy, and bring 2+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Active admission to the Virginia Bar.
• 2+ years of bankruptcy or restructuring experience, or completion of a bankruptcy clerkship.
• Admission to the Virginia Bar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent creditors, debtors, and other stakeholders in bankruptcy and restructuring matters
• Conduct in-depth legal research and draft high-quality pleadings, motions, and memoranda
• Assist with financial restructuring strategies and related commercial transactions
• Work directly with partners on case strategy, court filings, and client counseling
• Collaborate with attorneys across business and litigation practices as matters require
